Refereeing can lead to incredible working environments, world travel, and valuable transferable skills such as self-discipline, conflict management, multitasking, and people management. SCMSA’s goal is to attract young referees, develop their skills and confidence, and retain them for years to come.
In this section, you’ll find information regarding the BC Criminal Record Check process, along with links to BC Soccer’s Small Sided Referee Pathway. We’ll also introduce you to the Respect in Sport for Officials and Concussion Awareness Training Tool (CATT) for Coaches and Officials.
This education is MANDATORY for all referees.
