Frequently Asked Questions

  • The season typically runs from mid April to the end of June. In past seasons, soccer has been held on Mondays and Wednesdays. Specific dates for practices and games will be shared once teams are formed.

  • Soccer programs are offered in Ashcroft and Logan Lake with most soccer games based in Ashcroft. When registering, you’ll select the community where your child will participate.

MOST practices and games will take place within these towns, with the possibility of exhibition style games in neighbouring communities (ie. Kamloops, Lillooet) on an infrequent basis.

  • No — Parent & Tot teams do not travel and do not have formal games. All sessions are local, play-based, and designed to be fun and convenient for families within their home community.

  • We’re working closely with the Cache Creek Softball Association to coordinate schedules and avoid conflicts. Our goal is to make it easy for children to enjoy both sports, so families can have a fun and balanced season.

  • Our association is run entirely by volunteers, and parent involvement is essential to making the season successful. The $100 volunteer fee ensures that each family contributes to supporting team and association activities.

The fee is fully refunded once volunteer duties have been successfully completed and verified by your team manager. Families who choose not to participate in volunteer responsibilities will forfeit the fee. This system helps us share the workload fairly and keep registration costs as low as possible for everyone.

  • Volunteer roles may include helping with team management, field setup (nets and corner flags), equipment coordination (washing game-day jerseys), bathroom opening, clean-up, and closing, garbage pick up, and coaching.

Team managers will track parent/guardian volunteerism and report back to the association, and provide more details upon request.

  • We accept major credit and debit cards through secure online payment processing (via SportsPay).

To streamline our registration process and improve record-keeping, we are moving away from cash and e-transfer payments. Online payment allows us to track registrations more efficiently, reduce administrative workload, and ensure funds are properly recorded. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to make the process smoother for everyone.

  • Registration refunds may be considered prior to the start of the season. After the season begins, refunds are not available.

  • If a team cannot be formed due to low registration or a lack of coaches, we will make every effort to place your child on another team where possible.

If placement is not possible, families will be notified and registration fees, including the volunteer fee, will be refunded in full.
